Luke Littler believes victory in Poland can fuel a Premier League Darts comeback starting in Belfast on Thursday

Luke Littler believes his sensational victory at the inaugural SUPERBET Poland Darts Open can fuel a Premier League comeback - starting in Belfast on Thursday.

Littler on a magical day of action.

The world No 1 only registered his first Premier League victory of the season with a deciding-leg win over Luke Humphries in Antwerp before .

Littler, who sits outside the top four spot in the standings, will be seeking the same kind of form he showed in Krakow and gain revenge on Clayton when the roadshow heads to Belfast on Thursday - live on Your Site.

"It's not the best start but there's still 13 weeks left to get into that top four. I've got loads of time. This weekend has given me massive confidence going into Belfast. I need to start picking up now and start playing better on Thursday," Littler told Canal+ Sport.

Littler was imperious from start to finish in Poland, having on Saturday.

The 19-year-old continued his charge with another ton-plus average and a 6-2 victory over Ross Smith, and an emphatic 6-1 win against Josh Rock sealed his spot in the semi-finals.

Chris Dobey awaited Littler in the semi-finals, and the reigning two-time world champion delivered another dominant display, averaging almost 106 to close out a 7-3 success.

In the final, Littler defied a nine-darter from Van Veen to lift his fifth European Tour title.

"I wish I missed that double 12!" said world No 3 Van Veen, who takes on Josh Rock in a blockbuster tie at the SSE Arena on Thursday.

"Of course I'm very happy to hit the nine-darter, but I think everyone noticed in the next two or three legs, I wasn't good.

"I was so excited about the nine-darter - my first one on the stage, and that probably cost me the final today.

"Fair play to Luke. As he said, that spurred him on. That's how he reads the game, and that's why he is world No 1.

"Obviously I'm gutted with the result. I'm getting a bit tired of losing finals now, but it's part of the game and I'm happy to make another final. It's been a great weekend."

Rock will take centre stage, with the Northern Irishman facing fellow Premier League newcomer Van Veen.

Littler faces Clayton, with Stephen Bunting up against Humphries, while Michael van Gerwen will be aiming to return from his absence in Glasgow to take on Gerwyn Price in a must-watch quarter-final tie.

Who will win this year's Premier League Darts? Luke Humphries will be defending his title and you can watch the action every single Thursday until May on Your Site. .
