UEFA Nations League: England drawn with Spain for 2026/27 tournament, Wales to face Portugal

England are set for a redo of the 2024 European Championship final after being drawn with Spain in the 2026/27 Nations League group phase.

Thomas Tuchel's men were drawn in League A3 with the European Champions, and will also face Croatia and Czech Republic.

There are other tough draws for the home nations, with Wales also making it into League A4 where they will take on defending champions Portugal, along with Denmark and Norway.

Scotland were drawn in League B1 and will face Switzerland, Slovenia and North Macedonia.

Both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland were drawn in League B2 and B3, respectively, with the former landing ties with Hungary, Georgia and Ukraine and the latter taking on Israel, Austria, and Sweden.

France will take on Italy in League A1, while Germany will face off with Netherlands in League A2 in other eye-catching match-ups.

The first game of the league phase will take place between 24-26 September 2026, with the final tournament taking place the following year from 9-13 June 2027.
